About Zoe:
Zoe has spent her career helping people feel heard. As a counsellor, she hopes to create a space of safety, acceptance, and trust, where clients feel supported to reconnect with their own strengths and move forward at their own pace.
Her path into counselling has been shaped by both professional depth and personal experience. For over a decade, she worked as a journalist and communications professional, where she learned to listen closely, hold complexity with clarity, and communicate with care across differences. She also co-founded an alternative fitness space, where as Head Coach she has spent years teaching children and adults to trust their bodies and move through fear and self-limiting beliefs.
Zoe is also an experienced peer supporter for groups focused on grief and depression, giving her a grounded, compassionate understanding of what it means to sit with loss, uncertainty, and the slow work of rebuilding.
Zoe’s current training is in a humanistic approach that also draws evidence-based techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Satir model, and Play Therapy. She works with adults and children navigating:
- Stress
- Life transitions
- Family relationships
- Grief and bereavement
- Anxiety and depression
Born in Canada and raised in Hong Kong, with time spent working in Beijing, Zoe is comfortable across multicultural environments.
Zoe provides counselling in English and Cantonese.
