About Christine:

Psychological Counsellor

Christine holds a Masters in Professional Psychology from the University of New England, Australia. She has a strong commitment to delivering effective psychological interventions, working with adults, children and adolescents to offer individual therapy, parenting support and training and family therapy. Using evidence-based psychological interventions (e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Christine supports clients dealing with a range of significant life events and psychological issues, including stress, anxiety and depression; issues with self-esteem, self-confidence, social skills and peer relationships; attention, concentration, impulse control, and emotional regulation issues; and experience of grief, bereavement and life transitions (e.g. transitioning to university, re-location, repatriation etc.). Christine offers an individualised approach based on each client’s unique circumstances.

Having lived and worked in Hong Kong for more than 20 years, Christine is familiar with the issues facing individuals and families in this culturally diverse, vibrant, and often fast-paced, city. With experience in the international school sector, counselling primary and secondary students and their families, Christine is very aware of the challenges faced by families needing to secure specialist educational intervention and individual emotional and psychological support for their children and teenagers. Whether reacting to the pressures of Hong Kong’s education system or managing busy professional and personal lives, Christine is committed to delivering effective psychological intervention and support for clients, in an empathetic and personalised context.

Christine consults in English.
