There are MANY resources available to anyone at anytime and anywhere. We value knowledge and sharing, and also strive to direct our patients and clients to resources that will be ones that we would share with you through the course of work together. Criteria for what constitutes a reliable resource can vary, and everyone will have their own preference for how they will want to learn whether it be through visual, auditory, physical, some combination of these, or in some other way. While we would love to be able to share ALL of the great resources each of us has gathered over many years, and that we believe are credible, well researched, founded on facts, and provide only the most considered collateral support to augment our services, these are too numerous and constantly change.

We have made an effort to provide a range of tip sheets, links, down-loadable information flyers, and other similar resources and hope you will be able to find something that appeals to you. We are constantly updating and adding to this list, so we sure to bookmark the page and check back frequently!

PSYNAMO SERVICES INFORMATION
We provide many support services and have descriptions of these throughout our website. If you would like to have a specific flyer based on our services, you can download one of our digital flyers to read more about a particular service or even to share with someone you feel might benefit from the sharing but might not be able to access something on our website. We have provided our currently available flyers in the below section and these mirror the physical copies we have on display in our clinic. INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP ORGANISATIONS

Membership in a professional body is a sign that a practitioner has been accepted by agreement to abide by a code of ethics and conduct. These are not licensing or registration bodies and therefore can only recognise an individual practitioner as being a member, and where relevant, may offer an accreditation of graded membership level. These are not government bodies and therefore do not confer “registration” or “licensure” for the ‘right to practice’ or right to use a ‘protected title’ (eg. clinical psychologist). Some of these organisations may have a voluntary ‘register’ such as a list of names of members made public, but none of these organisations regulate the country specific legislative element. It is important to note that practitioners who have been trained outside of Hong Kong may have gained licensure (eg. Individual states in the USA grant this) or registration (eg. the Health Care Professions Council in the UK grants this), but Hong Kong currently has no legislation around protected titles, registration, and/or licensure of any mental health professionals outside of the fields of psychiatry and social work.
