About Phoebe:
Counsellor
Phoebe has a BSc in Psychology (1st Class Honours) and a Masters in Counselling (High Distinction), and has worked in a range of therapeutic settings, including NGOs, private clinics, and international schools. This has equipped Phoebe with a wealth of experience supporting clients of varied ages and at different life stages. She provides psychotherapy for individuals and groups, supporting and empowering clients facing many different challenges and issues, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, and anger.
Phoebe is a warm, sensitive and empathic counsellor, engaging in an authentic and person-centered approach with her clients. She has completed advanced training in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and assists clients in developing awareness of unhelpful thought, emotional, and behavioral patterns, helping them to foster sustainable strategies for managing these in daily life. Phoebe is a full member of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association, adhering to their ethical guidelines and meeting regularly with an accredited supervisor to develop her proficiency.
Having lived in Hong Kong for the past 7 years, Phoebe enjoys and appreciates the vibrancy of the city and the diversity of the international community here, applying her cultural insight and competency to help her connect with and better understand the unique and complex stories of the clients she works with.
