Supervised Placement Counsellor
Flora Liu obtained a quality of certified counselor from the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2020. She graduated from Beijing Normal University Zhuhai (BNUZ) in 2021 with a bachelor degree in applied psychology, graduating with distinction. In the same year, she joined Guangzhou Lixing Social Services as a counselor and psychological service developer, responsible for the intervention service for adolescents with behavior problems and mood disorders. Besides, she developed systematic psychological programs. In 2022, she joined Hong Kong Baptist University to pursue a postgraduate counseling program.
Flora has clinical experience working with mentally disturbed adolescents and adults in psychotherapy, having interned in mental health centers and studied expressive arts therapies such as CBT, REBT, sandplay, and drawing. Influenced by existentialism, she believes that anyone has the ability and responsibility to live a more passionate and creative life.
Over the past five years, Flora has lived in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, hoping to explore psychological themes with different people. In the process of learning different treatments, she found herself growing, so now Flora tends to integrate psychotherapy with CBT, REBT, and art therapy at present, with the client’s best interest as the primary concern, developing different problem-solving models, and growing with clients with a sincere, unconditional positive regard and responsible attitude.
Flora is available for counseling in Mandarin and, if needed, in English.

在北京师范大学珠海分校（BNUZ）取得了应用心理学学士学位，以学校优秀毕业生的身份毕业。同年加入广州立行社会服务机构担任心理咨询师和心理产品开发人员，负责社区与学校的青少年行为失调和情绪障碍的干预以及系统性心理课程的开发。2022年进入香港浸会大学修读咨询学研究生课程。
Flora曾在精神卫生中心实习，学习了例如CBT、REBT以及沙盘游戏和绘画等表达性艺术治疗方法，拥有与有心理困扰的青少年和成人进行心理治疗工作的临床经验。受到存在主义的影响，她相信任何人都有能力和责任去过一种更有激情和创造力的人生。
在过去的五年中，Flora经常在曼谷和清迈居住，希望和不同的人共同探讨心理
主题。在学习不同疗法的过程中她发现自己也得到了成长，因此目前Flora倾向于以CBT、REBT以及表达性艺术治疗为主的整合心理治疗，以客户的利益最大化为首要，制定不同的问题解决模式，秉持真诚、无条件积极关注和负责的态度与客户共同成长。
