Counsellor & Educational Consultant
Cheryl is committed to helping individuals overcome challenges in a supportive and safe environment. With a warm and empathetic approach, she works collaboratively with clients to increase confidence and resolve issues in both personal and professional aspects of their lives.
She has experience working with individuals covering a wide range of issues including low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and stress. Cheryl primarily uses evidence based techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Cheryl has an extensive background in education having worked as a secondary school teacher in London for ten years as well as providing individual tuition to students in Hong Kong. She has experience in educational consulting, helping students with a range of issues including transitioning to new school environments, preparation for examinations and management of school related stress and anxiety.
Cheryl works with students to:
- develop positive study habits
- reduce procrastination
- plan and improve time management
- increase motivation
