Elena has a multicultural background in her learning and professional life, having lived and worked in different parts of Asia for over 10 years. She holds a Masters in Professional Counselling degree and has additional training in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Behavioural Change and Integrative Yoga.
In her therapy work Elena intends to support the client in learning to access a moment-to-moment skilful relating to the outside world. Having worked on-site of an addictions rehabilitation centre, Elena often applies bio-psycho-social models of therapy, including Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention, Breath Regulation, and Psychosomatic practices.
Elena addresses each client’s issue(s) in a holistic manner and supports clients in adjusting and/or transforming the many facets of their lifestyles, be it changes in communication styles, better emotional regulation, or a life-long behavioural goal, including the use of substances and other addictive behaviours. Elena is a registered Integrative Yoga Practitioner and offers therapeutic practices including:
- Psychosomatic & Mindfulness-based Individual therapy
- Clinical Hypnotherapy
- Meditation, Breath regulation and Relaxation techniques
- Private and Groups Integrative Yoga (Qi Gong and Meditation in movement, Spinal Alignment and Vagus nerve, Psoas Hip opening and Yin Yoga)
Elena values her client’s utmost confidentiality and is determined to offer an open and safe space to support each client’s individuality.
Elena consults in English, and has a conversational level in Mandarin, as well as native Russian.
