Clare’s approach to mental and emotional healing focuses on empowerment. She uses a range of therapeutic techniques such as CBT, mindfulness techniques, and trauma-focused narrative therapy to help clients reach their goals. Clare has worked with families and single parents who have experienced trauma. She has worked with school-aged children with selective mutism, anxiety, attachment issues, and behavioural differences. She encourages collaboration with all stakeholders and can offer home visits. With a warm, non-judgmental approach, she enjoys working with young children, adults, and families. As a mixed-race individual, she is curious about identity and self-awareness. Her interests are in sibling dynamics, parenting empowerment, stress/emotion management, and mindfulness practice to enhance well-being. To stay up to date on latest practices, Clare is currently a candidate in an EMDR training programme.
Clare obtained her training from Durham University (UK) and Columbia University (USA), but was born and raised in Hong Kong. Her primary practice language is English, but she is conversational in both Cantonese and Mandarin.
