Through exploring our pasts, we can gain the insights we need to make meaningful change and thrive in our present. This mental and emotional healing requires vulnerability, support, and empowerment – core tenets of Clare’s approach. By unpacking our experiences, our reflections, our feelings, we can build on existing strengths and develop the confidence and self-awareness to tackle any challenge thrown our way.
Clare’s experience is broad, having worked with children, teens, and adults in both individual and group settings. She has worked with children with selective mutism, anxiety, attachment issues, and behavioural differences. She has supported adolescents struggling with self-esteem, school stress, and family dynamic changes. With adults, she has supported individuals with diagnosed mental health differences, as well as those facing parenting challenges, suicidal ideation, and isolated or complex trauma. She caters to client’s specific needs by using a combination of evidence-based practices (i.e. CBT, mindfulness, EMDR, Gottman Couples Therapy).
Clare was born and raised in Hong Kong, and offers her practice in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. She obtained her training from Durham University (UK) and Columbia University (USA).
